Playoff Schedule announced

The Grizzlies will face off against the Las Vegas Wranglers in the first round of the playoffs. The teams will compete to win 3 of 5 games to move on to the next round. The first two games will be hosted by the Wranglers, with the third game in Utah. Here's the schedule as announced by the Utah Grizzlies:

Game 1; Tuesday: Utah at Las Vegas, 8:05 p.m.
Game 2; Wednesday: Utah at Las Vegas, 8:05 p.m.
Game 3; Saturday: Las Vegas at Utah, 7:05 p.m.
***Game 4; Sunday: Las Vegas at Utah, 4:05 p.m.
***Game 5; Tuesday: April 13: Las Vegas at Utah, 7:05 p.m.

**If Necessary**

The Grizzlies have a pretty good record against Vegas this year, which is kind of what worries us. While Utah does have a 10-4 record against the Wranglers this season, they haven't played Vegas since February 1. And in those two months, the Wranglers have made quite the run for the playoffs, including a sweep of the Player of the Week awards for March 8-14.

We're pretty sure that Colley and Curcio are taking this into account while preparing for the playoffs, but with only 3 wins needed to move up, each round has the potential to be lethal to the Grizzlies' Kelly Cup dreams. This is definitely going to be a nail-biter of a run.

But we're mostly excited that hockey isn't yet over for the season. We're guaranteed at least one more home game this year, and we'll take it.

On an unrelated note, when the hell did NHL.com start taking journalism lessons from TMZ? Check out this prize of a headline that was stuck on a story about Vancouver Canucks' Shane O'Brian.
