Unfortunately, we learned Sunday that Michael Gergen has been released from his contract with Utah. We were sorry to hear that, as we really enjoyed watching Gergen during the Ontario matches a few weeks ago. He was definitely running at top speed during that series, and also picked up a goal and an assist in this last match up against Vegas. But when it comes down to it, May just looks better on paper than Gergen. Hopefully we'll see him land elsewhere in the ECHL soon because we like the guy and his style of play. Best of luck, Michael!

Former Grizzlies goaltender Nathan Lawson made his debut in the NHL Saturday with the Islanders. We were excited to see this happen as we loved to watch him play here in Utah. Congrats, Laws!
