Penalty Minute Leaders and Other News

The Grizzlies are currently 2nd in their division, one point behind the Alaska Aces. The Grizzlies have the most penalty minutes in the division at 87. We're not sure whether that's newsworthy or not, but we're reporting it anyway. (Are we sure it's not that Dave Schultz?)

Deseret News had a Q&A session with J. P. Lamoreux.

The Grizzlies no longer have two sets of brothers on the roster. As of Sunday, October 24th, they released Ed Snetsinger from his contract. We're hoping someone in the division picks him up so Ed and Brad can play against each other on a regular basis. Maybe bet each other dinner, or bathroom cleaning or something.

This is the last week to get your vote in for the ECHL All-Decade team.

Not Grizzlies-related, but junior defenseman for the Miami RedHawks Will Weber was cut by a skate during a game on Saturday night, leaving him with a great look for Halloween. (Picture here - click at your own risk.) Weber has since been released from the hospital and is doing fine.
